With this mount there is no need to tilt the SEM specimen stage which avoids drift and enables quick setup for EBSD analysis.

Two different heights allow for samples up to 0.5″ (12.7mm) or 0.5-1.125″ (12.7-28.6mm).

The sample is pressed to the cap by the spring, ensuring the polished face of the specimen is flat across the mount.
The removable insert is used for 1″ samples and is removed for larger samples.
Ideal for wide area imaging, and stitching images with minimal focus change between stage moves.
