The write-on zipper storage bags come in 6 practical sizes, they have a white write-on area and a thickness of 2 mil.
These bags will hold up in a convection oven at temperatures of 90 C/195 F, remember that the air in the bag will expand during initial heating.

Forensic Gunshot Residue Lab Kit

Chemographic test samples with synthetic GSR distributions These Chemographic test specimens have been developed for the optimisation and validation of chemographic methods for Shooting Distance Determination (SDD) forensic work along with other applications.They are suitable as sample material for inter-laboratory tests according to ISO-Guide 43-1 and 2 or DIN/ISO 5725, as they meet the DIN/ISO requirements for identical sample material.GSR pattern distributions containing lead (Pb), are printed on the surface of a textile sample using a special, patent-protected printing process. The applied distributions simulate typical GSR distributions from different shooting distances (synthetic GSR) or serve to control the applied dyeing/staining process (Homogeneity & Resolution Limit). They are suitable for chemographic staining of the lead (Pb) distribution with both the reagents sodium rhodizonate and with sodium sulphide. Two sets are available: Synthetic GSR distributions The ‘comparison shot series’ consists of 24 textile samples. The applied distributions simulate typical GSR pattern applications for distances of 20, 50, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000mm. The set consists of 2 x 12 samples as illustrated and is particularly suitable for testing the quality of the staining process on actual samples or for validating the process.
Homogeneity & Resolution Sample This set consists of 24 textile samples; 18 homogeneity and 6 resolution. The prints are designed to assess the homogeneity or lateral resolution limit for chemographic staining of GSR pattern distributions (see illustration for the layout of the Homogeneity and Resolution sample). The textile samples are particularly suitable for checking and documenting the quality/reproducibility of the dyeing process used on a regular basis, eg. as required by ISO 17025.
Both sets are only partially suitable for direct dyeing of the lead (Pb) distribution on the fabric. |

Forensic Field Sampler
A high purity certified 12.7mm SEM pin stub specimen mount (see 16253, below) with and without an adhesive carbon conductive tab, mounted into the plastic cap of a glass specimen vial (25mm OD x 55mm high).
The Forensic Field Sampler has been designed to collect forensic evidence with minimum interference and/or contamination coming from the sampler.
Comes in 3 versions: without adhesive carbon tab, with adhesive carbon tab ready to use, and covered carbon tab (plastic cover needs to be removed prior to use).
Available with standard 12.7mm SEM pin mount with 8mm pin or short 12.7mm SEM pin mount with 6mm pin (ZEISS/LEO)

CorrStub SEM specimen stubs for correlative microscopy
Analysis and characterisation of organic and non-organic samples can involve the collection of images and data using a variety of instruments and techniques and, in most cases, the use of a single analytical approach is unable to provide all of the answers required. Typically combinations of techniques such as SEM and light microscopy are used to determine complete characterisation. With this in mind Agar Scientific have developed the new CorrStub specimen stub incorporating a unique referencing feature allowing analysis of exactly the same point, on the same sample, easily and repeatedly over alternative instruments.
CorrStub is available as a standard 12.5mm dia specimen stub to fit LEO/CAMBRIDGE, FEI/PHILIPS, CAMSCAN, TESCAN and ZEISS instruments. The stubs are available separately or can be individually pre-fitted with a high conductivity carbon Al core tab, or Leit tabs and mounted in either single storage tubes (AGG3626) or in lightweight boxes of 12 (AGG3103). The CorrStub can also be supplied laser etched with a unique serial number for sample identification. |

The simplicity of application and smooth, clean surfaces of PELCO Tabs Carbon Conductive Tabs are a significant improvement compared to many of the other common adhesives that have been used in SEM mounting.
Both tab sides have a thick conductive adhesive (conductive inner tab is 35 m and the adhesive is 45 m on each side for a total thickness of 125 m [5 mils]) with a liner on both sides, a transparent liner and white liner respectively. They are ready for immediate use. The top protective liner does not have to be removed until the sample is ready to be mounted. Many laboratories use these tabs for SEM in a large diversity of applications. Adhering of the tab to a mount or surface should be done slowly and carefully to maintain surface smoothness. Refrigeration will increase shelf life but a warm up period of one hour is then required before use. The PELCO Tabs consist of a carbon fiber mat impregnated with a conductive adhesive. The conductive adhesive is a carbon filled acrylic, free of solvents. It can be removed from the specimen mount with ethyl acetate, ethanol, isopropanol, alcohols or our 3M Adhesive Remover 80924 which is solvent-free. Temperature maximum is 60 C (140 F). High purity carbon tabs may contain very small impurities of Al and Si; see EDX Spectra. |

Barrier Foil Ziplock Bags
Barrier bags are ideal for storage of materials sensitive to moisture and/or oxygen.
The inside dimensions measure 6 x 5.5″ with a zip lock and a tear notch above the zipper.
