Plain glass slides made from the finest quality non-corrosive white glass.
Edges are precision ground and polished.

Each box contains 72 slides.

Thin sections made from rocks, minerals, cement/concrete, construction and building materials, and bone are mounted with epoxy, Crystalbond or Mounting Media onto a 46 x 27mm glass slide for routine petrography, reflected and transmitted light microscopy, EPMA, SEM/EDS, automated mineralogy, cathodoluminescence (CL) and EBSD analyses.

Coverslips reduce light scattering effects due to remnant pits and scratches formed in polishing steps.
Uncovered thin sections can be coated with oil , Histomount or clear nail polish prior to analyses.

Diamond White Glass Microscope Slides – Color Coded Water White Glass

Provided with frosted, color coded end on one side.

Available with ground edges with a 90 corner and beveled edges with clipped corners for use with slide labelers.
The color frosted end is resistant to common laboratory chemicals.

Size 75 x 25 x 1mm. Pre-cleaned.

Available uncoated, or coated with a positive charge.

Our slides are produced from the highest optical quality water white glass sheets of Soda Lime Glass.

Diamond White Glass microscope slides are ideal for all routine applications, automated instruments, long-term storage, and fluorescence studies where the highest optical quality is required.
The glass is specially formulated for minimal oxidation during long-term storage.
Available in plain, frosted, color coded, and charged (+).

Economy Microscope Slides

Made from clear soda lime corrosion resistant glass. Precleaned. Ground edges.
No notable interference from UV absorption or reflection in the 250-350nm range (tested with 280nm).

Available as a plain glass slide, a single frosted end slide with clipped corners, and a single frosted slide with fine ground edges and 90 corners, 144 slides per package.

Spot Slides Multi-Well Microscope Slides

Made from clear soda lime corrosion resistant glass. Precleaned slides with a size of 3″ x 1″ (76.2 x 25.4mm and a 1-1.2mm thickness) and a coating thickness of 0.130mm. Ground edges with 90 degree corners. No notable interference from UV absorption or reflection in the 250-350nm range (tested with 280nm).

The technically advanced hydrophobic coating prevents cross contamination by keeping fluids in the well area. Features include: super hydrophobic printed mask with clean wettable wells. The printed mask is an epoxy ink with PTFE. This coating thickness is 0.130mm.

Unifrost Microscope Slides

The color frosted end is resistant to common laboratory chemicals. Unifrost slides are prepared with a permanent adhesive which firmly anchors all types of specimen to the slide.

Superfrost Plus (+) Microscope Slides

High performance slides with a special treatment process that electrostatically holds tissue sections and cells to the glass without the need for special adhesives or protein coatings – an ideal choice for frozen sections and cytocentrifuge preparations and standard papanicolaou smears.
Plus, the special treatment virtually eliminates tissue loss during staining.

White or colored area can easily be marked to identify slides throughout the procedure.
